The NSW skilled migration (190) is now open for 2019-20. The New South Wales government intends to run the 190 program to bring highly skilled people to meet the NSW labour requirement. NSW is an appealing destination for a lot of people as it is the heart of Australia’s finance and economy.

About the 190 visa
The skilled nominated visa (190) is a permanent visa for eligible highly skilled people to meet the skill shortage in NSW. It is a competitive point-based system and only highly skilled individual will receive the invitation. The candidate who receives an invite will be awarded with additional 5 points.
The candidate must meet some requirements in the selection process:
- The occupation should be on NSW priority Skilled occupation list
- Some occupation requires the applicant to be living in NSW and have been employed in NSW for at least one year in the nominated occupation
- English proficiency
- Skilled employment
- Australian Department of Home Affairs point score
