The Australian Federal Government have announced that Australia’s annual permanent immigration intake will be brought down to 160,000 instead of the current capped 190,000. The government has said the new cap will be maintained for the next four years and will aid to stop the growing congestion in Metropolitan cities.
However, the Australian Government is also planning to ease the application for immigrants who are willing to move to Regional areas in Australia.
