Paramjit Shergill is widely known and respected figurehead of the travel industry in Tri-city, Punjab & Haryana states. After completion of her graduation from Punjab University, she started her career on 1st October 1984 as a ‘Manager Operation with GSA of Air India and successfully completed various travel & tourism related Diploma & Degree courses along with Masters in Arts from H.P. University during the job period.
Due to her preference for challenging and complex roles demanding a progressive leadership style, she established her own travel company, M/s Shergill Travels on 16th April 1993. The purpose behind her business is the heart and soul which is the core DNA and deep-rooted culture of the organisation. Since then, Mrs Paramjit Shergill has made fulfilling the dreams of travellers, her mission and has constantly supplied them not just with travel products, best deals but with meaningful experiences.
Shergill Travels Pvt. Ltd. became a part of the “UNIGLOBE” global family in 2007 and has never looked back since then. Currently, Mrs Paramjit Shergill is the Director of UNIGLOBE Shergill Travel and manages a diverse team engaged in the underwriting, structuring, and maintenance of the success of the company. To enliven her belief of providing ‘Beyond Travel’ experiences, UNIGLOBE Shergill Travel with their “Vacation Travel Experts” created unique experiences and lifetime memories to its travellers.
She has started Maple Bear Canadian Preschool, MDC Panchkula on 16th April, 2018 with the partnership with her daughter Ms. Alisha Shergill. She brings a lot in values such as compassion, consultative, customised solution-oriented culture in her travel business from her personal experiences. She is a member of Indo Canadian Business Chamber, CII, Indian Women Network and Many NGOs & was awarded as the only women entrepreneur in the tri-city on International Women’s day by Nationalized Bank and invited by TV channels on various occasions for interview & talk on challenges faced by working women.
